We are constantly striving for innovative, new, disruptive methods of working, but we don’t always consider the implications on our workforce. How quickly can we enact change? Is too much change ineffective?
One thing we’ve all experienced is the ‘only one syndrome’: being the only LGTBQ, minority or woman in the room. It’s very rewarding to have an experience like [AdColor] where we’re not the only ones anymore. It’s more than just networking … it’s about the emotional validation that this provides.
