The Imagine Wall is an interactive mural that responds in real-time t0 tweet submissions.
Coast-to-coast conferences need social connection
At the 2015 TEDMED conference, we asked the world, “How do you imagine a healthier world?” Responses were collected via Twitter, and two artists created murals based on the submissions.
A collective vision of the future
The two artists, Andrew Rae and Souther Salazar creatively interpreted the tweet submissions into a mural for conference goers to see and share. With each submission we created a user-generated vision of the future.
In a world of instant gratification, we filmed the artist's illustrations in time-lapse GIFs and tweeted them back to submitters so they could see their idea come to life on the wall even if they weren’t attending the conference.
Big impressions in the world of medicine, technology and art
In just three days with no paid media support, the Imagine Wall garnered over 5 million impressions, bridging both analog and digital worlds to envision a healthier future.
